Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup of pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 cup of sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup of hemp hearts
- 1/8 cup of linseed seeds
- 1/8 cup of sunflower seeds
- 4/5 cup cornmeal flour
- 1/4 cup olive oil (I do 1/8th olive oil, 1/8th hemp seed oil)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup boiling water
Directions:
Combine the hemp hearts, seeds and flour, add the salt and olive oil, then add the water
Mix well then put on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper. Put another piece of baking paper on top so you can spread the mixture right out to the edges of the tray
Use a pizza cutter to score in long lines
Place in 150°C oven for 1 hour, then turn oven off and leave to dry out.
When cool, break into pieces and store in an airtight container
Gluten free, nut free, dairy free, vegan, yum!
Tips:
You can mix up the quantities of each seeds to allow for what you have on hand in your pantry. The aim is to have 1 x cup of seeds total for the recipe.
