What is the recommended daily intake of hemp seed oil?
1 tablespoon per day, or 3-6 capsules. This gives you your daily dosage of omega 3 as well as many other healthy nutrients.
Is your hemp gluten-free and dairy-free?
Yes!
We’re so committed to delivering a wheat-free product, we have a specialised combine harvester that is used exclusively for hemp. Our certified organic processing factory is used solely for processing our NZ-grown hemp.
Our in-house food technologist ensures the standard for food safety and quality assurance is consistently met.
Are your capsules vegan?
No. We understand that some customers are concerned about consuming gelatin capsules, and as such it is something that we are always looking for a solution to.
Our current capsules are bovine gelatin, and contain 100% New Zealand grown hemp seed oil. Our bottled oil, hearts and protein products are vegan.
How is hemp extremely different to cannabis?
Unlike cannabis, hemp is not a manipulated crop. Whereas cannabis has high levels (5-30%) of the psychoactive compound THC, the THC in hemp cannot exceed 0.3%. THC is not present in hemp seeds, which are used to make hemp seed oil.
Our seed is stringently tested prior to planting and our hemp crop is tested at harvest time by laboratories for this key element, ensuring levels are less than 0.3% THC.
